Eagles stay hot

Winners of five of their last six games, the Eagles defeated the Bothell Cougars by the final score of 9-1 on Monday afternoon. Staying hot on the hill, junior Ernie Whelan tossed six shutout innings with nine punchouts to improve his record to 4-2 on the year. At the plate, Colin Patrick connected for his first homer of the season, Hudson Carvalho and Carter DuBreuil both doubled, Luke Farmer tripled and Joe Foss had two runs batter in. Battling for playoff seeding with two games left to play in the regular season, the Eagles travel to Woodinville on Wednesday night for a 7pm game against the Falcons.
